Blessing of the Bikes

I look forward to this every year.  The Christian Motorcyclist Association hosts this every year, and in Jones County, it is held by the Freedom Riders chapter.  
It will be this coming Saturday at Walmart parking lot in Laurel.  Registration is at 10:30.  Blessing at 11:30.

For me, it kicks off the "riding season".  It is a great opportunity to meet and greet other area riders.

Please come on out, if you can.  Doug and I will be there.

Huge turnout. Great weather. Went riding afterward with my son and a good friend.
We rode some back roads in Laurel, ate lunch, and then rode out to Marathon Lake.
Marathon Lake was closed, by the way. No idea why. We just took a break at the entrance by the gate before heading back.
