I'm nearing the end of a big project (My off-road truck), and until I have it running and roadworthy, I will not be doing much of anything else. The good new is that I am only a couple weeks away from that goal.
This is a 5.3L LM7 driveline in my solid-axled Nissan Hardbody. Build thread is here:

But MY project shouldn't stop Y"ALL from posting a ride, or just an idea for a ride.
I a few weeks, I definitely want to shake loose and hit the road with you guys and gals. So where would y'all like to plan rides to? Let's toss around some ideas.

I have a personal goal to ride the entire Natchez Trace pkwy sometime. Probably break it into 2 or 3 segments. I understand that a lot of it is posted slow speed limits, but should still be a good ride. This could be an option.

Speed is slow, but there are a lot of places to stop and look at stuff. There are also free or cheap campgrounds that don't suck. We could meet at a camp one evening, then ride a bunch of it all the next day.
Yeah, I think that's a great idea. The northern part is supposed to be curvy, and more fun for motorcycles. That's the only part I haven't been on. I've done the rest with Mississippi-Mud.com in the past.

I'd like to do another dual sport trail ride (with camping) when the weather cools off. I was at the Bethel Trail during hunting season, and it was not a problem. Not much hunting in that section. So maybe mid to late fall? And again in the spring?
I went by myself and had a great ride, but I prefer to have at least one other rider in case something were to go wrong.
Here's that thead.

The trace is a boring ride for me. I rode it last year on my County Ride Project and I nodded off while riding. I had to exit it fast or I would have wrecked after falling asleep. Found my first exit and once I was back onto normal tarmac and up to speed, I was fine.
I was thinking of taking a ride to Natchez for lunch one weekend. No major roads, all secondary and curvy roads for me.
