It kept up just fine. Suspension was soft for him, but he kept it on the road. I had him go ahead of me on the night ride again, and it was almost a replay of last year's night ride. We were FLYING down 28 with Chris, Munch, and Paul. The usual hot shoes. He kept up the pace. I got slowed by another rider until the line was out of sight, and when I finally caught back up, he was right there with them, still.
He offered to let me try it, but I didn't think it would be a fair assessment under my weight.

I went off on my own for a while to get my curves on.  I never made it to the dragon when the photographers were there, but that was not a priority for me this year.

Two of our riders went down.  Separate incidents.  Kiwi Cat (Joy), and Loki (Nelson).  Both happened on the dragon.  Neither were more than slightly injured, and the bikes were just scratched up, with broken mirrors and damaged fairings.


I didn't get any pics of the Slow race, but it was as fun and entertaining as last year's event.  
I left Saturday night, got rained on, had to stop at a Walmart to replace a headlight bulb that burned out (low beam), and made it back to the campground by 1:20 AM.  
I got a good nights rest, and hit the slab to arrive home at 2:00.  I'm so glad I broke it up, or I would have been in that heat all day like last year.  That was not fun.

All in all, it was a great trip.  It really cleared my mind.
